By using our web site or online services, you agree to the data usage described herein.  We may update this privacy policy from time to time and will post changes to this site so that you are aware of how we use your personal information.

Non-personally identifiable information

We may use "cookies" which are small data files transferred to your browser and hard disc to make using our web site and services easier.

On our web site we collect non-personally identifiable information such as the web page that referred you to our site, the pages of our site you visited and the time spent. This information is strictly for our internal use to help us improve our web site and make it easier for you to use. We do not pass on such information on any third party.

Personally identifiable information

We only collect personally identifiable information when a visitor to our site completes an online form requesting information, or emails us directly, or signs up to use the FileForward online services.

We do not sell, share or rent your personally identifiable information to any third party other than those necessary to provide our online services as mentioned in our Privacy Policy or Terms of Service.

If we ask you for sensitive personal information we will use SSL technology to encrypt your information and protect it as it travels across
the internet.

When you sign up with us through our web site, we will ask you for personally identifiable information including your name, email address, company and credit card details. This information will only be used by us to complete your transactions or to contact you in relation to your use of our services, resolving problems or from time to time, keeping you abreast with enhancements to our services or requesting your feedback.

As a registered user you have to create a password to protect your account. You will be the only person who knows this password and therefore you are solely responsible for keeping it secret.

As part of our online services, we record all account related activity including but not limited to user activity, file transfers and storage and bandwidth usage. This information is solely used by the account holder, or persons authorised by them to view reports related to the account activity. We may also use this information to contact the account holder, for example if their account is nearing it storage quota. When an account is cancelled and deleted, all such information is also permanently destroyed.

As a registered user of our online services, you may refer a friend to use FileForward in which case we will ask you for your friend’s name
and email address. This information will only be used for sending a one-time invitation email.

Sharing of information

We may share some of your information with third party providers such as credit card processing gateways to assist us in providing our online services. Such third parties are strictly prohibited to use your personal information for any purpose other than those contracted
for by FileForward Limited.

In order to protect you from identity or information theft via “phishing” emails, FileForward do not under any circumstances request any kind
of personal information such as credit card or password details in non-secure or unsolicited emails.

From time to time, we may contact you and ask you to take part in our customer satisfaction surveys. These surveys will either be done by our own employees or by a third party specialist. All information gathered via our surveys is used to help us improve our services and tailor them to your exact needs.

We shall co-operate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requests directing us to disclose information relating to anyone using our services for any illegal, obscene or unlawful purposes.
